- Why Temple? I chose Temple University Hospital because it would provide me with numerous clinical opportunities and extensive training in multiple areas of pharmacy practice. With my training, I knew that I would be able to aid the community by providing high-quality care to diverse, underserved patient populations.

- Why Temple? The supportive environment, challenging curriculum, and diverse patient population is what ultimately led to me choose Temple University Hospital. With my interest in infectious diseases, I wanted an experience where I would be exposed to a wide array of infections such as those seen in transplant patients.

- Why Temple? Temple’s level 1 trauma center, variety of ICU rotations, and diverse patient population made for an environment well-equipped to meet my expectations for a strong emergency medicine experience. The supportive mentorship from the RPD and clinical specialists ensured me Temple is fully committed to my personal and professional growth as a PGY-1 resident.

- Why Temple? I chose Temple because of the acuity of the patients and the inner city atmosphere. I love that it’s a level I trauma center with multiple ICUs, but also that care is still so patient-centric. The previous residents and clinical specialists that I spoke with during the interview process all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and enjoy working here, which also made it feel like home.

- Why Temple? The challenging environment and endless opportunities lead me to choose Temple University Hospital. As the Jeanes resident, I get the opportunity to experience the diverse patient population of Philadelphia as well as the community setting. Each preceptor, mentor, and administrator I spoke with were passionate about their job as well as committed to producing well-rounded, independent pharmacy residents. I valued the ability to tailor this program to my specific interests and being surrounded by preceptors who care about your overall well-being.
